Welcome
Holywell ETNS is located in Holywell, Swords, Co.Dublin. Holywell was orginally named ‘Gorse Hill’, then ‘Feltrim Hall’ and is located in the town land of Nevinstown. Holywell is located between Airside and Kinsealy. It is an area of over 1,800 mixed housing units of apartments, duplexes and houses where there is a high volume of local authority housing and private rental. Pupils also come from the other surrounding areas of Melrose and Drynam, with some students travelling from Finglas, Santry and the greater Swords area. There are a large number of students who do not have English as their first language.
Enrolment has been growing since 2010 in HETNS, from 21 in its first year to the current 677 pupils. We are a 49 teacher school including 15 special education teachers and English as an additional language teachers. The school also has four special classes for children with autism, as well as a high volume of students with special educational needs in mainstream. These children are supported by 30 Special Needs Assistants throughout our school.
